	Origin of the Innovation Cube
		The origin of Innovation Cube dates back to 1982 when Bart Huthwaite sold his Troy, Michigan based machine tool company to his Japanese partner, Nitto Seiko of Japan. Huthwaite had been educating engineers on how to innovate products to gain even greater benefit from his machine tools. He founded what is now the Institute for Lean Innovation to teach his innovation techniques to companies worldwide. What is now the Innovation Cube is the evolution of 25 years of innovation experience applied to thousands of projects, services, products and business systems.
